This pattern features mosaic knitting on the leg. And a bit of stranded colorwork in the heel. Yes, stranded colorwork worked back and forth can be a “pain in the ass”, but I got good news when you are knitting the stockinette heel flap, it doesn’t need to be as long as slipped stitch heel flap. So, a few rows of stranded colorwork, but the weary good look on your heel flap.

You will need two colors. Main color (MC) and contrasting color (CC). Fingering weight yarn, 400 m in 100 g.
I used BBB Super Trekking (color- 9512) as MC.
And my own hand dyed “Regia 4-ply for Hand-Dye” for CC.
MC: Approximately 76 (120,154, 240, 275, 340) yds, 70 (110, 140, 220, 250, 310) m.
CC: Approximately 22 (34, 40, 80, 80, 90) yds, 20 (30, 36, 70, 70, 80) m.
Yardage may vary if your gauge/yarn is different.
