These beautiful gloves are short enough to not be in the way, yet warm enough to keep your hands nice and warm. Living in a moderately cool climate, I wear these all the time!!
Being fingerless, you are free to turn the pages of books, or use a smartphone! The waterfall pattern on the front of the gloves is created by a very simple single cable design. This is very simple, the pattern is only worked over 14 stitches every 3 rounds, yet it looks beautiful. A list of abbreviations and simple instructions for the stitches used are included.
For the gloves in the picture I used exactly 1/2 a ball of Cleckheaton California 8ply, 4mm & 4.5mm double pointed needles. The pattern included instructions on how to divide the ball of wool into ¼ and how to get the exact same colour schematic on each glove.
You could definitely use another time of wool too. Even a plain colour would still be pretty with the waterfall pattern.
