This is somewhere between a top and a shrug, I made it because I wanted something easy to throw on over dresses with puffy sleeves.
I designed the instructions so that, hopefully, anyone can follow the steps I did when designing the pattern and have a garment that fits them specifically.
The yarn I used has a lot of variation in what the weight of it actually is, it is listed as medium weight which I assume is an average of the variation in it. Following the exact gauge of the yarn I used, however, is not necessary. You can most likely follow the instructions with similar weights of yarn and still get the right end product.
I went through almost three skeins of Loops and Threads Facets but I am also small, different sizes will (of course) need different amounts of yarn.
