This pattern was desined for the first “Bay Area Yarn Crawl”.
Please note that there is errata of numbers of rows on page 2, 4 - Row 79 should be Row 81…., please add 2 extra rows on each number after that. This section ends on Row 128 instead of Row 126. I am so sorry for the typo!!!

The pattern here is all good : )

YARN
The sample is knitted with Saredo ‘WATAKAMI’..
100g/ 295 yards
51% Japanese paper 49%Cotton
One cone each color - total 2 cones
This unique yarn is perfect for this shawl. It’s crisp but drapes nicely -- great spring/summer shawl. The colors are so vibrant too.

Color A (base) - 295 yards
Color B (eyelet borders) - 190 yards

if you want to make the shawl bigger, you can repeat more rows at Ending Eyelet Border.

100% wool yarn, such as Malabrigo ‘Arroyo’ will also make a beautiful shawl.

Very easy to adapt the pattern for different gauges too.

NEEDLES
I used US #5 for ‘WATAKAMI“.
If you are going to knit with wool based yarn, you will need to use US #6 ~ #7 .
