Watermelon over the shoulder bag and watermelon clutch bag, you get both patterns.

These patterns are suitable for an experienced beginner, someone with a basic knowledge of crochet stitches and up for a bit of a challenge. I have included lots of photos and a link to a YouTube video to help out.

Pattern is written in US crochet terms.

You will need:
6 mm crochet hook, yarn needle, stitch markers, scissors, chunky/bulky yarn.
I used Deramores STUDIO Anti-Pilling Chunky: approximately 50 g ruby, 50 g fir, couple of meters of ebony and frost colour.
My tension is 7 rows/ 6 stitches = 5 x 5 cm. However, this is not hugely important as depending on your tension, you will get either a slightly smaller or larger bag.

Finished bag will be approximately 20 cm across, the length of the strap about 70 cm.
This pattern was also tested using aran/worsted and DK weight yarn with the corresponding crochet hooks, bag will look the same but will turn out smaller in size.

This pattern is also suitable when crocheting left-handed.

You need basic knowledge of following crochet stitches:
Magic ring, slip stitch, chain, single crochet, how to do a colour change and crochet in circle.
