This is the pattern for a wattle and gumnut appliqué. I do have this pattern available for free on my website if you would prefer that option. The link is down below, but I’ve made it available for people to download as well for $1 on Ravelry. This only has the pattern for the wattle and gumnut branch. The cockatiel and possum patterns are sold separately.

I’ve used 2 ply cotton and a 1mm crochet hook, but you can use different sizes depending on what you’re most comfortable with.

• Any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat 2 ply crochet cotton colors (254) Moon Rock, (208) Yellow Gold, (786) Fuschia and (391) Deep Ocean Blue.
• A crochet hook, I used a 1mm hook.
• A darning needle to weave in ends.
• Scissors.
• Thread and needle to stitch the pieces to the branch.
• A cockatiel on branch applique and possum applique if desired.
