This cowl, cape, scarf, hood…. started as an accessory for me to wear with my gray tweed overcoat last winter. It was going to be a cowl I could wear as an ascot or double wrapped on really cold days. As the week progressed I decided to expand it because of the cold weather until it reached its current size. Many people have tried it on and liked the multi usability. I used an I cord cast on which gives it a great finished stable less stretchy edge, but the homespun lambs pride yarn gives it body and spring. I used three colors 1 skein of onyx, 1 of charcoal heather, and 2 silver streaks at night. When I was done I had enough to do matching fingerless mittens and a hat. Those patterns are also available soon.
