Wave Pulse Bag
Bags are one of my favorite things to crochet, and when KnitCrate asked me to create a bag with a custom colorway, I was excited to try something new. It uses spike stitches to create the graduated, curved effect. My partner, who has a degree in physics, took one look at the finished bag and said, “Hey, that looks like the graph of a wave pulse!” After looking up pictures, I thought it was perfect to name the bag after a graph that looks uncannily like the crochet spike stitch. This pattern involves very little sewing, as the side panels are worked directly onto the front panels and everything is crocheted together. All you have to do is sew on the straps.
