The multicolor version of this shawl used two gorgeous skeins of Spun Right Round in different color ways.
The black version of the shawl used Cascade Heritage Silk in black with a fine sequined thread held together every 5th and 6th row.

You will begin by creating a single crochet border the length of the outer edge of the shawl. Your yarn is cut and reattached to the center of the single crochet border.
In each row you will work all stitches from the row below plus additional stitches into the single crochet border.
