A relaxed poncho with points at the centre front and back, finished with a decorative wave lace border.
Wavedream Poncho brings together details from my own designs: the neckline from the Latesummerdream Sweater and the wave lace pattern from the Synne x Wavedream Sweater.

The poncho is worked from the top down, beginning with a ribbed neck. The body is worked in stockinette stitch with increases at the shoulders and at the centre front and back. Hold one strand of DROPS Sky together with one strand of DROPS Kid-Silk throughout.

Difficulty:
Adventurous beginner / intermediate. Techniques include twisted rib, directional increases and a simple lace chart.

Sizes:
S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL)

Choose your usual clothing size, taking the finished measurements and your preferred fit into account. The lower-edge circumference is measured along the entire hem, including the points, and does not correspond to a sweater’s bust circumference.

Lower-Edge Circumference: 182 (182) 202 (202) 222 (222) cm

Length at Centre Front: 44 (46) 48,5 (50,5) 52,5 (53,5) cm

Measured from the base of the neck to the front point, including the wave lace border.

Gauge:
18 sts × 26 rnds = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 5.5 mm needles, holding one strand of each yarn together.

Needles:
• 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needle, 40 cm.
• 5.5 mm (US 9) circular needles, 40 and 80 cm.

Yarn:
DROPS Sky, 50 g = approx. 190 m:
150 (200) 200 (200) 250 (250) (to be confirmed) g.

DROPS Kid-Silk, 25 g = approx. 210 m:
75 (75) 100 (100) 100 (125) (to be confirmed) g.

Hold one strand of each yarn together throughout.
