I designed the Wavelength shawl to feature the unique Make It Tweed yarn, which is a lace-weight carry-along yarn meant to add texture and tweedy color to other yarns. This shawl shows off the texture of the tweed, and by dropping the tweed yarn for the lace edging you still get the definition of the lace pattern.
