Wavelet is a textured headband knit from 80-90 yards of DK- to worsted-weight yarn! With a cute but subtle wave when worn, this headband or mini-cowl makes a great use for small handspun skeins or leftover yarn.

Knit Wavelet at a gauge of 18 sts and 26 rows in stockinette. Use the needle size you need to knit at gauge.

You’ll need:
-80-90 yards of worsted-weight yarn
-16” circular needle in size needed for gauge--US7-8/4.5-5.0mm for most knitters, but your gauge may vary! Use the needles you need!
-Stitch markers

Because this is a little heavy on garter ridges, you’ll get a slight jog in this seamless headband; it’s not very noticeable when worn at the back. You can see this in the second photo--the iris colorway sample on the weathered wooden background.
