After a long and tiring year, I’d love to supply you with some much needed comfort knitting. This pattern will be free to download from December 9 through the 15th. I hope you can take some time to yourself and enjoy this knit. No coupon needed, pattern will be free when placed in your cart. Cheers!

For those cold days when a coat sounds boring and you need a blanket! This easy to wear poncho is knit in the round to keep it seamless and is finished up with a three-needle bind off or Kitchener grafting that joins it all together. The fringe is then created by cutting along one edge. Yes CUTTING! You’ll love it.

I would highly recommend knitting up a gauge swatch that is at least 4” square. You can then use this as a test for the fringe as well as getting a correct gauge. Cutting into this small piece of knitted fabric will help answer any questions about creating the fringe as well as calm your nerves when it’s time to cut the final fabric. An illustrated step-by-step is included to walk you through creating the fringe.

The length and height can be easily altered for a more personalized fit. Suggestions are included with the pattern.
