Die wavesBINE ist ein Top, das nahtlos vom Halsausschnitt bis zum unteren Bündchen gestrickt wird.
Zuerst wird in Reihen gearbeitet, um den Nacken zu formen. Dabei werden kontinuierlich Zunahmen für den vorderen Halsausschnitt vorgenommen. Gleichzeitig erfolgen Zunahmen an den Raglanlinien, um die charakteristischen diagonalen Linien vom Halsausschnitt zu den Ärmelausschnitten zu erzeugen.
Nachdem der Halsausschnitt fertiggestellt ist, wird zur Runde geschlossen, und das Stricken erfolgt nun in Runden.
Die Zunahmen an den Raglanlinien werden fortgesetzt bis zur Abteilung der Ärmel. Die Ärmel werden separat gestrickt, während das Top weiterhin in Runden bis zum unteren Bündchen gearbeitet wird.
Besonders gut ist die Anleitung auch für Reste geeignet. Ich habe hier einen Fade von Positive Ease benutzt, aber die vorgesehene Reihenfolge verändert. So harmonieren die Farben wunderbar miteinander, zeigen aber mehr Kontrast. Du kannst jegliche Merino Singles Reste verwenden, wenn Du das Garn doppelt nimmst. Der Fantasie sind hier keine Grenzen gesetzt. Farbwechsel können ganz nach Geschmack erfolgen, das Garnreste können fast ganz aufgebraucht werden. Die Farbwechsel sind auch für Anfänger des mehrfarbigen Strickens gut geeignet, weil nur vier Runden im Colourwork gearbeitet werden, danach geht es entspannt glatt rechts weiter. Als Sommervariante eignet sich sehr gut Line von Sandnesgarn.

Bei Größe 3 benötigt man etwa Dreiviertel eines Knäules Line für eine Welle.

Bei meiner Variante mit vier Farben habe ich (Größe L)

wavesBINE top is knitted seamlessly from the top down, starting from the neckband and extending to the hem. Initially, you will work in rows to create the neckline. Once the neckline is complete, you will join the work in the round. At this point, the colorwork begins. While continuing with the colorwork, you will also work raglan increases in stockinette stitch. When you reach the underarm area, the sleeves and body of the top are separated. You will then knit each sleeve and the body separately, following the instructions provided in the pattern for each section.
Once the sleeves and body are completed, you can proceed to finish the hem and any other remaining details according to the pattern instructions.

The instructions are particularly useful for leftovers. I used a Positive Ease fade here, but changed the intended order. The colours harmonize wonderfully with each other, but show more contrast. You can use any leftover Merino Singles if you held the yarn double. Your imagination knows no limits. Colour changes can be made according to taste, the leftover yarn can be almost completely used up. The colour changes are also suitable for beginners of multicoloured knitting, because only four rounds are worked in colour work, after that it is relaxed stockinette stitch. Line by Sandnesgarn is very suitable as a summer variant.

With size 3 you need about three quarters of a ball of Line for one wave.
