‘Wavy Path’ is a simple and fun Moebius cowl: the basic chevron is made more interesting by changing the pattern texture in the contrasting stripes, and each transition is embellished with a lateral braid.

Construction:
This cowl is knitted as a tube in the round. The tube begins with a provisional cast-on. Its simple chevron pattern is created using basic increases and decreases in an easily memorized two-row pattern repeat. Before changing colors, a Vikkel braid in the contrasting color is added to enrich the pattern and to keep the transition between colors smooth and unique. Finally, the tube is twisted for an additional swirl before joining into a circle and seamed using a three-needle bind-off that creates a lateral braid between the cast-on and bind-off edges, making the cowl seamless.
