This is the third in a series of 4 designed to accommodate the the size of your purchases. This bag is meant for longer trips for essentials.
This one starts at the square bottom. A “pinhole cast on is used to allow you to knit from the center out. Increases are worked at the 4 “corners. Once the desired size is reached, the pattern changes to a simple 2 round lace stitch. The single handle is worked flat and attached to the top edge of the bag using 3 needle bind off. Blocking is optional.

Strap: 22”/56 cm
Main body (unstretched) 8”/20 cm x 27½/”/70 cm.
Bottom square: 11½”/29 cm x 11½”/29 cm.

Gauge is 24 sts/ 36 r = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch
Gauge is not critical for this project but any change in gauge will affect yarn requirements and overall size.
