“We are Groot.” - Groot, Guardians of the Galaxy

Groot is the tree-like alien with a limited vocabularly, understood only by his friends. When he envelops the Guardians with his branches at the end of the movie, he utters this new phrase, signifying the unity and power of his new-found family. These top-down socks convey this message through branch-like cables that intertwine around the leg and down the instep. May the finished pair offer you the same support and protection, no matter what ordeal you may be facing.

NOTE: This pattern is sized differently than most of my designs, due to the elaborate cables. Please look at the measurements below carefully. If you find yourself between sizes, I recommend knitting the larger size, or using a larger needle with the smaller size.
