(1) crochet pattern for a We Pillow. Made with Red Heart Super Saver Solids, this pillow is one of the simplest concepts, yet powerful. Funny how reading such a small word can invoke that warm feeling of belonging, like a really good hug! This would be a great gift for a wedding or first time parents - Or a gesture to remind someone they are loved, needed and valued. Who doesn’t need more of that?

This pillow was made using the “intarsia” method, which is just a fancy word for ‘rows of single crochet and color changes’. Intarsia crochet is not super difficult and works up fairly quickly. There are quite a few good videos on youtube for intarsia crochet available, should you want to view them.

Pattern includes instruction and tips for how to do intarsia crochet, specific instructions for THIS particular pattern and a colored graph. Red Heart Super Saver Solids brand yarn was used for this pattern, however any medium weight (#4) worsted weight yarn with comparable colors can be used. “I Love This Yarn” by Hobby Lobby provides a really soft option. Front of the pillow has the simple word “we”, while the back is plain off white (aran).
