Eat it or wear it! Sometimes you just want something easy and fun to knit. This striped garter stitch cowl is worked in the round uses two colors of super bulky yarn. A slight taper will keep the cowl from gaping at the top. While it originally started out with a different name, the green and orange I used reminded me so much of green beans and carrots that the cowl eventually acquired the name “Wear Your Veggies.” Though it would be equally appropriate to refer to it as “mmm, fiber!”

A very easy pattern. Gauge is not critical, but changes may result in more yarn being needed.

Yarn shown: Loopy Mango Merino No. 5, 100% merino wool, 74 yd / 68 m, color “Jungle”, 1 skein and color “Mrs. Orange”, 1 skein or approx. 74 yd / 68 m each of any two colors of super bulky weight yarn (148 yd / 136 m total).

Felted vegetables in photos are not included in the pattern.
