Originally designed special for Less Traveled Yarn’s “Handmade - 5 C’s of Arizona” Book, Weathered was inspired by the natural patina and weathering that copper takes on over time or when exposed to natural elements such as rainwater and salty air. Like a well-loved, vintage hammered copper pot, adorned with patina, the textures of Weathered highlight the color dance in the variety of hues.

This triangular shaped shawl begins with a handful of stitches at cast on and increases along one side to the end, eventually bound off with a decorative picot along the finished edge.

This pattern is designed to be worked in two colorways for Part I and one colorway for Part II. When a color is indicated in the pattern, two strands of that color are to be held together (e.g. A = 2 strands yarn A held together on that row). This pattern includes two options for the texture detailing of Part II.

For an extra special finishing touch – add tassels in your preferred color(s) with remaining yarn when piece is complete.
