Weathering the Storm cowl is dedicated to a good friend Melissa. This cowl was made with her in mind as she beat cancer. The lace symbolizes life’s ups and downs. The variegated symbolizes our loved ones around us supporting us and giving us hope.

This cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up. A simple pattern, great for beginners or advanced knitters.

I used my own colorway After the Storm yarn set. You will not use the entire amount in this yarn set. You will need approximately 400-438 yards.

size 5 needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
23 sts=4 inches in stockinette st. I did not measure rows.

This cowl is easily modified. For a bigger cowl simply add more stitches and more row repeats. You will need more yarn if making this cowl much bigger.

This pattern comes with written and charted instructions.
