Weaving Willow is a triangular shawl that you can wrap around your neck or drape over your shoulders.

This shawl alternates thick rows with lacy bands in a pattern. The front-post and back-post stitches create a texture like a woven willow basket.

The shawl can be made bigger or smaller depending on how often you repeat the rows. Depending on the repetition you need more or less yarn.

Any gradient fingering yarn should work for this, or any fingering weight yarn if you prefer a more uniform color.

Stitches used in this pattern: chain, double crochet, half double crochet, front post double crochet, back post double crochet, puff stitch

I would love to see pictures of your project, if you use this pattern!
