Weavy Pentagram
Being a geometer, I am fascinated by shapes - the pentagram, or five-pointed star, being one of my absolute faves. If I can add in a weave, then I am beyond thrilled. The centre forms a pentagon, which allows for further nesting pentagrams.
This star has a weave, a design style in many cultures the world over, meaning the design has alternating overs and unders, giving texture to the pentagram.
The pattern is made-to measure - I hope you can take what is here and make your weavy pentagram to fit any size star frame or hoop. You can use any yarn weight, hook size and frame sizes that you have.
There is also an extra challenge at the end of the pattern to make a weavy decagram (10 pointed star), with guidance on how to do that.

The pattern is available in both UK and US terms.
