Webertraum is a unisex beanie worked in the round with staggered cabling to give it a woven look. Its design is reminiscent of the weaving patterns of rustic baskets, and its simplicity makes it a wardrobe staple!

The pattern is rhythmic and easily memorised, making it a perfect project for winding down after a long day, or a quick last-minute knitted gift. The hat is seamless, and the crown is decreased with minimal disruption to the pattern.

The beanie is designed to use less than one 100g-ball of DK weight yarn, perfect for using up that spare ball of yarn leftover from bigger projects! Sample is shown in Baa Ram Ewe Winterburn DK (Endeavour), a woollen-spun wool to give it a rustic look. A worsted spun yarn will bring out the definition and beauty of the stitch as well!

Webertraum Beanie is available in 3 sizes -
1(2/3): Head circumference 20-22” (22-23”/23-24”)
Please note that since the stitch pattern is not particularly stretchy, gauge will be important, and it will be best to go a larger size to ensure a comfortable fit. Testing your gauge will be very important for a good fit!

The pattern is personal use only. Do not copy, share or sell the pattern. You may sell the knitted item made using this pattern, with the designer credited.
