These sock continue the musical journey through the week with the song “Wednesday Morning” by the folk rock band “America”. Once again a rather sad song about parting from each other, so I chose a cable pattern that’s parting and added a subtle eyelet pattern on the instep. You know there’s this line in the lyrics “Wednesday evening was the first time she cried”…

These socks are worked from the cuff down with heel flap and gusset. The split cable pattern is continued onto the heel flap. The knitter can choose to work the pattern from charts or written instructions.
