This pattern was formerly the New Year MCAL 2017.

Moll Moll is my Weebee doll’s big sister, she’s a special doll with an even bigger head than her sibling (19-23 inches around dependant upon yarn weight, brand and personal gauge - don’t worry there is a way of supporting it incorporated into the pattern!

She is named Moll Moll, after my eldest niece Molly.

All the aspects of this pattern have been tested and proofread by three talented and experienced crocheters who are members of the Weebee Appreciation Society Facebook group.

As with all of my other doll patterns, you can choose to use whatever yarn weight and hook size is convenient for you and in terms of the amount of yarn required it will basically be twice as much as you use to make one of my standard size Weebee dolls. The colours you use are again completely up to you.

Terminology: US

Format of pattern: PDF - 17 pages

Style: Written with all abbreviations and special stitches noted in the pattern as well as guidance images where appropriate.

If you would like to replicate my doll exactly you will need to purchase the following:

Stylecraft Special DK yarn in:

• Stone for the doll – I used just under one 100g skein, to be on the safe side I strongly recommend buying 2 100g skeins just in case your gauge is bigger than mine.

• Raspberry for her hair – I used less than 50g of yarn.

• White, Candyfloss and Fondant for her clothing, less than 50g per colour used.

• A very small amount of black yarn.

You will also need the following:

• A pair of 20-24mm safety eyes – I used 24mm amber safety eyes.

• Plenty of toy stuffing.

A crochet hook suitable for the yarn weight you have chosen. I used a 3.5mm hook with my DK, Light Worsted, Number 3 yarn.
