A great weekend project with satisfying results. This quick and easy cowl features two yarns held together to create a marled fabric. Simple stripes add visual interest to create a versatile and wearable accessory.

FINISHED SIZE

One size. Width: measures approx. 29 cm (11.5”) at base, 25 cm (10”) at top

YARN

Approx. 320 m fingering weight yarn (held doubled) and 100 m of lace weigh yarn (held with one strand of fingering weight yarn).

Shown in Filcolana Vilja #145 held with Filcolana Alva #337.

GAUGE

21 sts x 30 rows = 10 cm (4”) in stocking stitch after blocking.

Gauge is not critical but will impact finished size and meterage required.
