Weekend Shawl
A stunning textured crochet shawl made with gradient yarn — perfect for a relaxing weekend of crocheting by the lake or surrounded by nature. Just imagine sitting peacefully outdoors, listening to birdsong and watching the sunset…
This triangle shawl is made using just one cake of gradient yarn. There’s no need to make a gauge swatch or measure anything — simply start crocheting and continue until your yarn runs out!
Recommended yarn: Gradient yarn in weight #1 (super fine) or #2 (fine).
For my shawl, I used LindeHobby Flora Soft Cake (55% Cotton, 45% Acrylic), Color 20 — I couldn’t resist the colors!
Hook: 2.5 mm
Finished size: approx. 63 x 28 in (160 x 70 cm)
Skill level: Intermediate
You’ll need to know how to crochet the following stitches:
• double crochet (DC)
• treble crochet (TR)
• Front Post Puff Stitch (FPuff)
The pattern includes:
• A clear stitch diagram
• Written row-by-row instructions (in US crochet terms)
• Step-by-step progress photos
This is a relaxing and rewarding crochet project with gradient yarn that grows quickly and is full of texture.
Happy crocheting!
