This Collection is a collaboration with Lora from Campfiber Yarns. Pop by her shop to see all the gorgeous colours that are part of her Fall Woodlands Collection

I wanted to create a collection that was a twist on the classic contrast toe/heel sock and that also felt cozy, autumnesque, collegiate, and fun.

These socks have become a perfect balance for me in terms of process knit and product knit. I want to knit them AND wear them!

All three are easily executed technically and are adventurous beginner appropriate; ‘Anytime Knitting’ at its best! This collection in constructed cuff down, and includes a heel flap and gusset construction, and three sizes.

The pattern repeats are easily memorized and the knitting is intuitive and rhythmic. With fun pops of colour in the form of stripes and some toes and heels.

The three designs included are:

Friday Night Socks - Think crisp fall nights, tail gating before the big game, bonfires. Cheering for your team, collegiate, classic. Cables and ribbing with some nostalgic stripes at the toe and cuff.

Saturday Afternoon Socks - Trip to the coffee shop in your favourite boots before an afternoon in the used bookstore/yarn shop/antiquing. Twisted stitches create a macro twill; sporty rugby stripes at the cuff.

Sunday Morning Socks - Time to enjoy a slow morning. Frost on the windows as the wind blows through the trees. Steam curling from your favourite mug as you snuggle up to enjoy the treasure you found yesterday. Impossibly squishy waffle texture, contrast toes and heels, and accent on the cuff.
