Weekender sweater
This sweater is designed as a “stash buster”, meaning it is a good pattern to use up all the ends and yarn scraps you have on hand.
The sweater is knit with mostly Sport & DK weight yarn, and works up very fast due to the large needles.
The pattern is worked in the round from the bottom up to the underarms, and worked flat for the front and back. The sleeves are picked up and worked in the round. Throughout the whole sweater the yarn colours are switched out as you’d like. The sweater is designed to be oversized and has a slouchy look.
This pattern is written for advanced beginner knitters, skills include:
Long tail cast on
Stockinette stitch
Mattress stitch
