Weihnachtstraum Zipfelmütze
Die Mütze wird von unten nach oben in Runden gestrickt. Nach dem doppelten Bündchen wird ein breiter Streifen mit mehrfarbigem Muster gestrickt. Danach wird sie einfarbig, mit regelmäßigen Abnahmen, fertig gestrickt.

Lana Grossa Cool Wool big (120 m/50 g) oder Cool Wool (160 m/50 g), Katia Merino 100%, Lang Merino 120%, Drops Merino Extra Fine
Oder andere Garne mit passender Maschenprobe.

Zur Garnwahl
Wir geben wahlweise Cool Wool big oder Cool Wool von Lana Grossa an, obwohl die Garne verschieden dick sind. Die angegebene Maschenprobe von 24 M auf 10 cm ist eigentlich zu klein für die Cool Wool big – damit wird die Mütze aber besonders dicht und warm. Wenn ihr stattdessen die dünnere Cool Wool verwendet, wird euer Strickbild etwas lockerer. Beides ist möglich und eurem Geschmack überlassen.
Macht auf jeden Fall vorher eine Maschenprobe und wechselt bei der Cool Wool big ggf. auf dünnere Nadeln, um die korrekte Maschenprobe zu erhalten.

Bitte beachtet: Der Umfang bezieht sich auf die fertige Mütze, NICHT auf den tatsächlichen Kopfumfang. Damit die Mütze gut sitzt und nicht rutscht, muss ihr Umfang einige cm unter dem tatsächlichen Kopfumfang liegen.

Größe 9 Jahre+ sollte auch für Erwachsene passen - für große Erwachsenenköpfe könnt ihr zu Beginn aber auch 8 zusätzliche Maschen anschlagen und die Mütze dadurch etwas größer stricken.

Maschenprobe
Die Maschenprobe in dieser Mütze beträgt 24 Maschen auf 10 cm. Bei mir entspricht das einer Nadelstärke von 4 mm.

ENGLISH VERSION

Christmas Dream hat
The hat is knitted in the round from the bottom up. After the folded up ribbing, you knit a wide stripe in a multicolored pattern. You then continue knitting in the main colour with regular decreases.

Lana Grossa Cool Wool big (120 m/50 g - 131 yds/1.76 oz) or Cool Wool (160 m/50 g - 175 yds/1.76 oz), Katia Merino 100%, Lang Merino 120%, Drops Merino Extra Fine
or any other matching yarn.

Yarn choices
We use Cool Wool big or Cool Wool from Lana Grossa for this pattern, although the yarns have different weights. The gauge of 24 sts on 10 cm is actually too small for Cool Wool big - this makes the hat particularly thick and warm. If you use the thinner yarn instead, your hat will not be quite as stiff.
Check your gauge swatch beforehand and if necessary switch to thinner needles in order to obtain the correct gauge.

Please note: The circumference refers to the finished hat, NOT to the actual head circumference. In order for the hat to fit well and not slip, its circumference must be a few cm/inches below the actual head circumference.
Size 9 years+ should also fit adults - but for large adult heads you can also cast on 8 additional stitches at the beginning (to fit an additonal pattern repeat) and thus knit the hat a little larger.

Gauge
24 sts = 10 cm (4”) with needle size 4 mm (US 6).
