These Welly Socks are designed to have a loose fit, to be pulled over trousers and socks, with the cuff folded over the boot. They keep your feet warm in winter, help your boots to fit more snuggly, with your trousers neatly tucked in.
The pattern gives three adult size options. It is easy to adjust the height and width to fit your boots. You can even adjust the foot length. So pick a sock size that matches the width of your foot, try the sock on as it grows. I’ll let you know when to make adjustments. The pattern includes a full diagram as well.
The toe heel and cuff are intended to be worked in one colour, while the body of the sock is worked in a second colour. See the pattern for breakdown of colours.
The pattern uses an unusual linked stitch to produce a stretchy yet sturdy sock which is comfortable against the skin.
The pattern comes with photos and links to my blog to make it a walk in the park!
