Wensleydale lamb is covered in tiny tight curls that will grow later into the famous lustrous longwool fleece.

Wensleydale lamb is knit from the bottom up mostly in reverse stocking stitch with a cabled detail at the back. Legs and ears are knit separately and sewn on.

Wensleydale lamb would look also gorgeous with Coal used as the colour for the stocking stitch sections; the face, ears and legs.
