ABOUT
The Westwood Cowl is a worsted weight cowl comprised of the basketweave stitch that can be tucked into your coat to protect against the cold winter winds. This pattern is worked in joined, turned rounds, eliminating any need for seaming! Instructions are also included on how to adjust your cowl size and even how to use other yarn weights.

This is a sister pattern to the Westwood Headband.

Reversible: There is no right side or wrong side; both sides are identical. Whichever side you choose to wear as the “right side” is your preference.

Turning Chain: The turning chain does not count as a stitch.

Adjusting the Size: Begin with a foundation chain in any multiple of 8 until reaching your desired circumference, then follow pattern as written. To adjust the height, continue working the repeats until reaching your desired cowl height, finishing on a Rnd 6 or Rnd 9 repeat.
