Weybourne Warmers are designed to keep wrists warm and fingers free!

This pattern is based on the grey/white, medium sized warmer shown in the picture above. This pattern also provides instructions for knitting smaller and larger sizes too. Plus tips about where you can adjust as you knit to ensure your warmers fit the hand(s) you are knitting for.

Similarly, the colour work pattern instructions are only for guidance too – you can make your warmers as patterned, or as plain as you like, depending on the effect you are after.

The warmers are knitted in the round, use your preferred method for knitting in the round: DPNs, magic loop, etc.

Size: circumference approximately 17 cm – 19 cm/small, 18 cm – 20 cm/medium, 19 cm – 21 cm/large (S/M/L). They are quite stretchy.

Length: medium 21 cm long.

The row counts given in the pattern will knit up to a warmer 21 cm in length. Use the gauge information below if you need to make any adjustments to length. Or, if you are knitting for yourself, simply try the warmer on every now and again, to ensure the fit you want.

Tip: if you are knitting these warmers for someone other than yourself, and they’re not around to try the warmers on as the knitting progresses, have them draw around their hand, so you have a guide to help you with some of the dimensions.
Gauge: 20 sts/32 rows per 10 cm square. 2sts/3 rows per 1 cm square.

Yarn: DK, each warmer takes approximately 35g - 40g/88m yarn altogether. 25g MC/55m, 10g/22m CC. 70g – 80g/180 m for a pair.

Needles: 4.00mm (US6) and 3.50mm (US3).
