Our crochet whales and crochet seals are so cute and sweet softies. They have big kind eyes and these toys do like to hug with their owners.

The amigurumi PDF pattern includes 15 pages and more than 70 photos of the detailed description of crocheting, assembly and decoration of 2 toys (whale and seal) in 2 variants (plush and smooth yarn).
The main details of the plush and smooth toys are crocheted under the same pattern, only some of the details differ but all these nuances are described in details in the tutorial.

For your comfort I made special note fields in the pattern. You may make any notes in the digital file or print it and handwrite any information.

SKILL LEVEL: intermediate.
You need to know how to crochet a magic loop, chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, to make an increase and decrease.

YARN: you can use any plush or smooth yarn of any thickness and color.
Some details of the plush whale and seal are crocheted with a smooth yarn.
All the details of the smooth whale and seal are crocheted with a yarn of the same thickness.

USED YARN:

• plush yarn 120m/100g (Worsted/10ply or Bulky/12ply) and hook 3,0 mm (D/4, E/4, F/5);
• cotton/acrylic yarn - 160m/50g (Sport/5ply or DK/8 ply) and hook 1,5 mm (B/1). You can use the hook of the other size, matching for your yarn.

SIZE OF THE READY TOYS:

• crochet plush whale: the height 15 cm (5.91”), the length 26 cm (10.24”)
• crochet plush seal: the height 15 cm (5.91”), the length 32 cm (12.60”)
• crochet whale (with smooth yarn): the height 10 cm (3.94”), the length 17 cm (6.69”)
• crochet seal (with smooth yarn): the height 10 cm (3.94”), the length 20 cm (7.87”)

(if using the pointed yarn).
