Bobbles. Beans. Puffs. Popcorns. As beginners (and even some more advanced crafters) we tend to look at the various techniques and ask, “What the Bump?”

That is PRECISELY what this crochet along is all about. Together we will sample the various bumps and study their differences as well as some unique squares for each over the next several months. I will release one square every 2 weeks through December 2025. These squares would make great dishcloths, sensory blankets for any age, or even just swatches for a larger project you may have in mind.

You will need any worsted yarn you want as I constructed this with my own scrap yarn, hence no listed recommended yarn. I used a 5.0mm hook, but you may use whatever gets you the proper gauge for each square.
