What’s Your Favorite Color is an asymmetric, triangular wrap knit on the bias. It features garter stitch and intarsia. Trust me this is not scary, hard, tons of bobbins and charts intarsia. There’s no chart, minimal counting and since the pattern uses mini skeins your yarn will already be in neat little bundles.
I used a 5 skein gradient set of Yummy 2 ply in Perseus from Miss Babs and a skein of Yummy 2 ply in Oyster as the main color. ( These sets have changed to 6 but don’t despair. I wrote the pattern so you can use a 6 skein set or a 5 skein set. If you knit the 6 gradient version your shawl will be approximately 2 inches longer.)

The name for this shawl was inspired by my children. One of the favorite topics while driving around was “ What’s your favorite color?”. Even though the answers in our family never seemed to change (Blue, Blue, Blue, Red, Green,Green) this question never got old. So even though I try to not design everything in blue, I couldn’t pass up a chance to use a whole bunch of blue at one time!
I hope you make one in your favorite color. ( Or maybe with a rainbow mini skein set? That would be awesome!)
