This Cardigan is easy to knit after you understand how to make a pattern. Please, read all the instructions before you start knitting .

The size of cardigan depends on the size of needles and gauge of yarn. To make it size 6-12, use yarn with yardage 100g/110yards and size 10 needles; to make it size 0-4, use yarn 100g/160yards and size 7-8 needles. To make it longer, knit more wheat ears.

Yarn: this exact cardigan is made of
Blue Sky Alpacas Suri Merino yarn (1ply), 100g/164yards, Content:
60% Baby Suri Alpaca/40% Merino Wool
Color Dawn 7 balls
Color Dusk 5 balls
Color Fog 3 balls
and Cascade Kid Seta Mohair (2Ply), 25g/300yards, Content:61% Super Kid Mohair/ 35% Silk/ 4% Merino Wool
Color Pewter 9 balls
Color Blush 8 balls

I recommend using thick yarn with some fuzziness to it (maybe add a thin mohair).
Good choice would be:

  1. Valley Yarns Colrain (2 ply), 50g/109 yards, 50%wool/50% Tencel
  2. Lopi Léttlopi (Litelopi) (2 ply), 50g/109 yards, 100% wool
  3. Valley Yarns Berkshire Bulky (1 ply), 100g/108 yards, 85%wool/15%alpaca. It is pretty heavy; you will need about 1800-2200g of yarn, depending on the length and size of the needles used.

Colors: could be knitted with just 1 color or you could use 2-3 different ones. To knit with several colors is much harder – I would recommend only the experienced knitters to do so. The challenge is to operate so many balls of yarn while knitting, but with a little effort in the end it is worth it.
