This beautiful, crochet hat was inspired by the prairie wheat fields of Saskatchewan. This is a fun, crochet project that works up quickly, and the rich texture serves as the perfect backdrop to show off your favorite fur pom-pom!

This well written crochet pattern calls for ¾ to 1 skein (depending on size made) of Midknit Cravings Comfort Sport (100% superwash merino), 115 g (4.0 ounces)/233 meters (255 yards) per skein, or comparable yarn. The colour pictured is appropriately called “Harvest”. You will also need a 4.00 mm (G) crochet hook (or size needed to obtain gauge), a 3.50 mm (E) crochet hook, a faux fur pom-pom, and a yarn needle.

The hat is worked in one piece from the bottom up. To help you to get a custom fit the pattern is complete with detailed instructions for 3 different ladies sizes.
