Wheatstalk Socks were inspired by wheat stalks swaying gently in a summer breeze. The subtle textured pattern shows their graceful lines without overwhelming the fabric.

This design combines smooth reverse stockinette stitch with a textured motif, making the socks both timeless and versatile. They look equally beautiful in natural, earthy shades as well as rich, vibrant colors.

The socks are worked cuff-down with a french heel (the pattern offers 3 variants of the heel flap). The stitch pattern is easy to memorize, making these socks a relaxing and enjoyable knit.
