If you are headed to Stitches Midwest, be sure to check out this shawl in the Destination Yarn booth, and you can purchase a kit that has the pattern and the yarn!

I’ve never been moved to create something based on a place before, but when Destination Yarn posted their Cinderella Castle colorway, I had to have it. When I finally squished it in my own hands, I knew that I had to capture the beauty, majesty and memories of one of my favorite places in the whole world, Walt Disney World. I had to blend the Gothic Architecture with the romanticism and a sprinkling of all the happy memories that this particular castle holds for my family and me. I heard birds singing and the clouds clapping when I took this one off the blocking mats and draped it over my shoulders for the first time. My girls gasped with glee when they saw it and there was a chorus of “Mine!” in the background. I hope that this shawl brings as much love and light into your life as it has given me. “A Dream is a Wish your Shawl makes…
