This Max doll requires very little in the way of fancy needlework.

I used a cheap chenille yarn for his body, as I wanted him to be soft. He is over stuffed, as the stuffing always flattens with play.

If I was making him for a young child, I would have used safety eyes. These would need to be attached before stuffing.

He is also without the claws in the book, as well, I wanted him super cute.
