Hat Construction
This fun woolly hat starts with a twisted knit ribbing that continues to the lower portion of the thistle in a decorative double moss stitch. A pattern of yarn overs and knit two togethers creates an easy lacework. The picot bind off edge and the gathering at the top of the hat provides a festive ruffle of the thistle flower.

Hat Dimensions (Width is measured unstretched and not including the ruffled top).
18.5 in /47 cm wide x 8.5 in/21 cm tall.
