This Whirligig Hat is all about being spontaneous! As a mom I can really get caught up by the drudgery of the everyday tasks. But in the afternoon I’ll take walks around our yard with my kiddos. With childlike abandon we’ll run down to our maple tree and tear off the bundles of seeds. They we dash to the highest point we can find and cast them into the air! Hundreds of golden papery seeds catch the wind, whirling and twirling to the ground.

The Whirligig Hat features a mock cable pattern (no cable needle required). It is knit from approximately 130 yards of cozy worsted weight yarn. They are designed to pair with the Whirligig Wrist Warmers.
