The Whisky Sour shirt is knitted flat with raglan sleeves. First, a faux “double-knitting” collar is knitted in the round from an invisible cast-on. Short rows are worked into the collar and at the start of the body to lengthen the back. The button band is added last by picking up stitches along the front edge.

NEEDLES
❖ Main needles: circular, US 5 / 3.75 mm, or size needed to match gauge
❖ Details needles: circular, US 3 / 3.25 mm, or 0.5 mm smaller than main needles

Double-pointed needles in the same two sizes for the sleeves and smaller circumferences, if you’re not using the magic-loop method. The cast-on and collar are best worked with circular needles at least 47” / 120 cm in length.
