The Bumpy cardigan is a top-down DK cardigan with i-cord stripes that uses the same technique as the Moonbumps wrap . It’s a great way to highlight a beautiful gradient yarn like Spincycle Yarns or your own handspun yarn. ⁠

Choose the size that corresponds to your chest circumference. The Bumpy Cardigan is designed to stay open; the finished width around the chest, including the space between the bands (2¾“ / 6.5 cm) will give a positive ease of 2–6” / 5–15 cm. If your chest size falls between two sizes, choose the size that corresponds to the amount of desired ease; choose the smaller size if you want around 2” / 5 cm of positive ease, or the larger size if you want 6” / 15 cm of positive.
