This concept was designed for gradient color yarns as BreAly Threads in 3 or 4 ply, or Wolles Yarn Creations Color Changing Cotton in 4 ply.
However, any fingering weight yarn will knit up beautifully, with lots of memories thrown in.
Starting with minimal stitches and working up to over 130 stitches on the needle, then decreasing as you drift away with this enjoyable journey.
Just as our lives take twists and turns, this pattern blends portions of our lives with texture and style.
After completion, you’ll have “Whispered Memories” along YOUR Memory Lane, and a beautiful ‘thingie’ to adorn and enjoy.

A Crazy Crescent Shaped “Thingie’ with 2 versions for yarn amount.
Size will vary depending on needle size combined with yarn choice.
Gauge not critical for amazing results.
Yarn suggestions range from 400 yds (365.76 m) to
600 yds (549 m). Yardage & gauge will also depend on each individuals tension, yarn choice and needle combination.
Average ‘test’ sizes range:
Length from 64 in. (162.56 cm) to 72.5 in. (185 cm)
Height from 21.5 in. (55 cm) to 23 in. (58.42 cm)
Narrow Edge from 7.8 in. (20 cm) to 9 in.(22.86 cm)

Needle choice can be whatever you’re comfortable with, straight or cable. Sizes used ranged from US 4 (3.5mm) to US 7 (4.5mm).

Basic knowledge of knitting, purling, abbreviations, with stitches such as YO, SSK, K2tog.
Beading directions are included in the WRITTEN-ONLY pattern. Beading is “optional’, with abbreviations included if choosing not to bead. Approx. 500 (+or -) beads used. Edge beading is approx. 85 beads. (Which IS included in the 500 bead count)
Suggested Bead Type:
No.5 Triange Seed Beads or No.6 Round Seed Beads
