When presented with a gorgeous new colourway what should I do, well start playing that’s what. This wonderful new colour was born earlier this year and I must say she is beautiful.
The yarn, a breathtaking blend of stunning violet melting into soft sky blue, flowed through my fingers with a touch like a whispered promise. Each stitch was a breath, each row a gentle
unfolding. The yarn became the Whispering Petal shawl, a piece
inspired by the fleeting beauty of a twilight bloom.
As with all assigned pooling yarn the colour and assigned stitches are totally random, like the delicate veins on a flower petal. As the shawl grew, a mesmerizing pattern of sweet little flowers emerged. The sky blues clustered together, reminiscent of the heart of the bloom, while the violet drifted outwards, soft and ethereal, like petals unfurling in the evening breeze.

You can make a shorter version using 2 skeins which is approx 220cm long but the long one using 3 skeins is almost 300cm. She has gorgeous removable tassels that sparkle in the sunlight.
