The Whistler Bound Beanie was inspired by the mountain life of a bustling ski resort village. This hat is warm and cozy and is a great ski weekend accessory or as a chilly winter wear must have.

This pattern creates a classic knit-look using only crochet work with a combination of 2 kinds of slip stitches. A link to a video tutorial is included within the pattern to help with making the hat from start to finish.

You will require 2 balls of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick yarn, an L (8.00mm) Hook, a tape measure and stitch markers (optional). The hat has been designed for a Pom Pom to complete the look of the hat so you can either make one using the Thick & Quick yarn or you can use any manufactured pom pom to top off the hat.

Basic knowledge of crochet stitches is required, an advanced beginner could successfully complete this hat as the video tutorial provided walks you through an overview of the entire process of making of the hat.

Several sizes are included with the pattern, from baby to Average Adult Women’s, and there are tips and guidance on additional sizing options.

Thank you for your interest in this pattern, I hope you enjoy working with it!
